1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you (the "Customer") and Fix Up Electrical LTD ("We," "Us," "Our") concerning our electrical services. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services Offered We provide a variety of electrical services, including but not limited to:
- Residential and commercial electrical installations
- Electrical repairs and troubleshooting
- Routine maintenance and inspections
- Emergency electrical services
3. Estimates and Pricing
- All estimates provided are based on initial consultations and may change based on unforeseen circumstances or changes in scope.
- Any quotations will be provided in writing and are only valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
- Additional charges may apply for unforeseen complications, additional work requested by the Customer, or any out of hours work.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.
- Invoices not paid within 7 days may incur a late fee of 8% per day.
5. Scheduling and Cancellations
- Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email or WhatsApp. We will provide a confirmation of your appointment.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a fee of £140.
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, with notice, where practicable, provided to the Customer.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
- We offer a warranty on all labour and materials for a period of 1 Year.
- The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or natural disasters.
- Claims under warranty must be made in writing, either by email or WhatsApp and include documentation of the issue.
7. Liability
- Our liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the services rendered.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or business interruption.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- The Customer agrees to provide safe and clear access to the work area.
- It is the Customer’s responsibility to inform us of any potential hazards, existing damage, or specific conditions that may affect the work.
- The Customer must ensure that pets and children are kept away from the work area.
9. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
- We adhere to all local and national electrical codes and regulations. The Customer must also comply with all applicable laws and obtain necessary permits, if required.
10. Governing Law These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
11. Amendments We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying you directly.
