What is a consumer unit and do I need a new one?
A consumer unit (also known as a fuse box or distribution board) is the heart of your home's electrical system. It’s where the electricity from the main supply is distributed to different circuits throughout your property, powering everything from lights and appliances to your heating and security systems.
